Michal Chetrit is a UofA graduate with a major in Environmental Studies and a minor in Geography. They started off at the farm as a farmwork intern in the Fall of 2017 and fell in love with farming, working in the soil, and the whole TVF community. This is Michal’s second year serving as an AmeriCorps member and they are so excited to return to Farmcrew and share their love for growing food with everyone who visits the farm. When Michal isn’t on the farm, you’ll probably find them gardening in their backyard or baking bread for their Challah bread business, Michallah Bread. Their favorite vegetables are tomatoes and cucumbers (chopped up in a bowl with olive oil, lemon, salt & pepper).
