Little Sprouts is a hands-on, early education program for children ages 2-5. When attending Little Sprouts sessions children and their accompanying grown-ups have the opportunity to spend time in the garden, try new foods, and learn about the world around them. The program is filled with investigation, discovery, exploration, and most importantly fun! Each activity is thoughtfully chosen and facilitated to guide and encourage the cognitive and emotional development that young children are continuously experiencing.

The cost is $45/session (3 classes) 

Spring 2025 Session Timings:

  • Ages 2-3: Fridays 9am-10am
  • Ages 4-5: Fridays 10:30am-11:30am

Please note, tickets need to be purchased for each session separately.

Session 1:

Feb 14: HeartBEETS for Valentine's Day! - Celebrate Valentine’s Day with beets and other heart-healthy veggies.

Feb 21: Bees, Butterflies, and Beetles - Let’s learn about insects and the small animals on the farm that help our plants grow!

Feb 28: Raindrops and Rainbows - Come splash around and learn about why nature's colors are good for you!

 

Session 2:

Mar 7: Planting Party - Farming is hard work and we could use all the hands we can get!

Note: off March 14 for spring break

Mar 21: Lucky Leaves and Clever Clovers - Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Let’s get in touch with your greener side!

Mar 28: Wild Flowers on the Farm

 

Session 3:

Apr 4: Chickens and Worms - Come spend the day with our chickens and worms! There will be an egg-cellent snack!

Apr 11: Power of Herbs - Search for herbs and try them all to discover your favorite tasty treat!

Apr 18: Celebrate Earth Day! - How can we show our world some love?

 

Session 4:

Apr 25: Five senses - activities with touch , taste, smell, sight, and hearing

May 2: Find Peace on the Farm - Let’s get in touch with our feelings through mindfulness activities!

May 9: Farm-to-Table Cooking Class - Come make a delicious treat from the veggies we eat!
