At Southwest Outdoor Leadership (SOL), we believe the wild places of the Southwest hold more than scenery — they hold the tools young people need to become who they're meant to be. Our mission is to empower young people through outdoor experiences that foster leadership, resilience, critical thinking, and lifelong connections. Whether it's navigating a canyon trail, working through a tough decision as a team, or sitting quietly under a desert sky, we believe growth happens when young people are given real challenges, real trust, and real community.

We envision a future where every young person feels connected — to themselves, to their community, and to the natural world — and feels inspired to lead with confidence, curiosity, and purpose. That vision guides everything we do, from how we design our programs to how we show up for the young people in them.
