Intro to Silversmithing

Join Lynn Benally, a fourth-generation Navajo silversmith, for an immersive hands-on jewelry-making experience. In this 4-hour class, you will learn the foundations and history of Navajo jewelry, explore traditional types and styles, and gain insight into the cultural significance behind the craft.Participants will then design and create their own stamped bracelet. We will be working with copper, an ideal material for beginners, allowing you to focus on technique and design while building confidence in metalwork.

Class 2: Saturday, February 7 | 9:00 AM–1:00 PM (light snacks provided)
